Illustrative clients. Same layout, words and shortcuts in each one. Only the data changes.

Four jobs. Every client wires them differently. Find a task, change a status, set a date, see what’s blocked.

Your layout. List, board or compact table, at your chosen density, in every supported tracker.

Your words. Plain, standard or expert labels, with the client’s own status name alongside.

Your shortcuts. The same keys for the same actions, wherever an equivalent action exists.

Today, Next and Blocked. Your assigned work, in three groups that never move. The rest stays on the client’s board.

Changes checked at the source. Satin writes through the client’s official API, reads it back, and only then says it’s done.

Their tracker, one click away. Every Satin view has a switch back to the original page. Nothing is hidden or changed.

Client vocabulary

Their statuses, in your words. No more guessing what “UAT” means at this client.

Every client invents its own workflow. Satin shows each status in your chosen label style, keeps the original name close, and offers only the moves that workflow allows.

  • In development: plain-language explanations of each client’s statuses.
  • Status changes use the workflow’s own transitions, never around them.
  • A translated label never changes the status’s meaning.

Illustrative workflows. Hover or tap a status. The source’s own name and meaning are always kept.

Each new client starts like the last. Set up once. A new client is one more connection, not one more interface.

  1. 1

    Install Satin

Add the Chrome extension. No site access at install; you grant it one site at a time.

  2. 2

    Set your Interface DNA

Optional two-minute setup, in development: layout, spacing, text size, contrast and motion, and words. Skip it or change later.

  3. 3

    Connect the client’s tracker

Sign in through the tracker’s official connection. Satin sees only what your own account can already see.

  4. 4

    Work your way

Open the client’s tracker and switch to your view. Their original page stays one click away.

Your view changes. The client stays in charge. Satin works inside a client’s tools, never around them.

Their permissions, unchanged. Satin acts as you. If you can’t edit it in Jira, you can’t in Satin.

Their workflows, respected. No skipped steps or forced moves. You see only the transitions the workflow allows.

Their data, on your device. Nothing is hosted yet, and your preferences stay on your device. Sync will be opt-in when it launches, and will hold only your preferences, never the client’s tasks or comments.

Their rules on apps. Some organisations block third-party apps on Jira. Satin respects that, so check with their administrator first.

Questions from contractors, answered.

Jira Cloud first, then Linear, with Asana a possible third. Satin works only on supported apps and never claims to work on every website. Anywhere else, you see the original.

Your clients choose the tools. You choose how they work for you.
